Dental Receptionist

Responsibilities: - Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office - Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using the dental office's phone system - Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with billing and payment processing - Maintain patient records and update necessary information in Dentrix or other dental software systems - Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns - Coordinate with dental hygienists and dentists to ensure smooth patient flow - Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures at the front desk - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing patient files Requirements: - Previous experience as a medical receptionist or dental receptionist preferred - Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix, Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar programs - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of medical administrative support procedures and practices - Proficient in using computer systems and basic office equipment - High school diploma or equivalent required Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
