*Job Description*:
· Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) and Personal Care such as feeding, bathing, toileting, dressing, ambulation and transferring.
· Assist with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL's) such as light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, errands, meal preparation, medication reminders, and companionship.
· Personal Assistant Services (PAS) which includes any hands-on assistance, incontinent care, and bathing.
· Companionship services which include social outings, playing cards, visiting and conversation, reading books, activities and hobbies, recreational activities and travel.
· Assists client in the self-administration of medication.
Home Health Aides do not administer medicine but assist the client.
· Performs tasks assigned by the Delegating Nurse including vital signs, clients’ weight, applying creams/ointments, collecting specimens, and measuring and recording intake and output.
Provides care that maintains resident’s skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other damage by changing incontinent clients, turning, repositioning immobile clients, and applying moisturizers to fragile skin.
Assists clients with ambulation and range of motion exercises.
· Completes timekeeping and client documentation in a timely manner.
· Maintains a safe home environment for the client and follows all Royal Home Care safety and training guidelines.
· Immediately communicates to the Care Manager any client concerns or unusual findings.
· All activities must be performed according to the Caregiving Plan
· Completes are continuing education sessions as required by state regulation or recommended by company policy.
· Other duties as assigned.
*Must Haves*:
· Home Health experience preferred.
· Must have active Licensed Practical Nurse licensure without disciplinary infractions by the state Board of Nursing.
· Must successfully pass a background check.
· Must have current AHA/HCP/CPR/BLS certification required.
· Must have 2 forms of government issued ID
· Must be courteous, honest, compassionate and kind to meet our expectations of quality care.

Dumfries, VA; 12 hours a Week (4 hours a day, 3 days a week)
Woodbridge, VA; 9 hours a month (4 hrs.
x 1 day & 5 hrs.
x1 day)
*Salary: *$13.
