Responsible for but not limited to:
* Assist the facility and therapy department to direct daily operations and maintain compliance and regulatory guidelines.
The Rehab Technician may assist with treatments only when under the supervision of a Therapist.
* Participate in Department meetings and facility meetings.
* Coordinate therapy schedule with nursing department.
* Maintain the cleanliness of the treatment areas and department.
* Participate in facility performance improvement programs.
* Maintain compliance and regularory driven duties such as obtaining physician signatures, maintain quarterly screen compliance and any other State or CMS regulations.
* Develop and maintain a filing system, complete clerical duties, answer and direct phone calls.
Requirements
High School Graduate or equivalent
CNA certification required
Working Conditions:
* Sitting, standing, bending, lifting and moving intermittently during working hours.
* Subject to frequent interruptions.
* Subject to lifting, carrying and supporting patients/residents.
* Must be contantly alert for patient's/resident's safety.
* Involved with patients/residents, family members, personnel, etc.
, under all conditions/circumstances.
* Subject to hostile and emotionally upset patients/residents, family members, etc.
* Communicates with the medical staff, nursing personnel, and other department supervisors.
* Willingness to work beyond normal working hours, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary.
