As the Fleet Manager for Finley Asphalt and Concrete you will take the helm of our diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment, ensuring their optimal performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities
Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance
Execute strategies to maximize the utilization, performance, and lifespan of our fleet assets.
Monitor fleet performance metrics, including utilization rates, fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and downtime, and take proactive measures to improve efficiency.
Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of vehicles and equipment.
Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to ensure timely repairs and maintenance work.
Maintain systems for accurate tracking of all fleet assets, including vehicles, equipment, and tools.
Maintain up-to-date records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and licensing for each asset.
Perform semi-annual inventory audits.
Diligently review and approve invoices.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to vehicle and equipment operation, safety, and environmental standards.
Keep abreast of changes in regulations and industry best practices and update policies and procedures accordingly.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Manage vehicle licensure and registration, ensuring all fleet members have proper licensure and up to date training.
Monitor drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and proper driving practices.
Ensure compliance with licensing and reporting requirements.
Analyze data related to fleet performance, costs, and operational efficiency.
Manage the entire process of reporting and handling insurance claims for vehicles and property damages.
Qualifications
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in utilizing fleet management software.
Familiarity with DMV procedures and regulations is advantageous.
Previous experience in fleet management or a related field is a plus.
Experience with Samsara/MCS a plus.

Frequently required to sit, and occasionally required to stand or walk to move around primarily in an office environment.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
This position may require up to 10% regional travel with an occasional increase in travel demands based on business needs.
