POSITION SUMMARY:
Rappahannock Goodwill Industries (RGI) is searching for an E-Commerce Media Clerk who will be responsible for all aspects of incoming accepted books and media.
The Media Clerk will scan, post, and list utilizing the proper software and listing procedures.
The Media Clerk will also be responsible for the purging, pulling, and shipping of books/media.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Achieving all scanning and posting goals as outlined by management.
Goals will be revised as more store locations are added with scanners.
List all items accurately, comprehensively, with no typos or spelling errors.
Maintain all standards as it is written in the SOPM.
Establish templates for common items to speed up the listing process.
Maintain shipping standards of one-day out from purchase
Achieve the average sale goals established by the E-Commerce Manager.
Follow all posting procedures to assign a listing # and proper storage placement to easily find for shipping.
Ensure clean, organized work and storage areas.
Follow all Shop Goodwill audit standards to ensure compliance.
Communicate with customers via email and phone to address questions/concerns/issues about items he/she listed.
Ensure customer satisfaction.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Perform all duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Training:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Knowledgeable of online programs such as Google, E-Bay, Amazon.
com and Microsoft Office products.
Ability to type at least 40 words per minute
Familiar with operating a digital camera, to capture acceptable photos for online listings.
Knowledgeable of calculating figures and amounts through addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages and average.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
Ability to climb, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, handle, carry, push, pull, and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions:
Retail Store environment with variable work schedule.
