Position The Assistant Business Operations Manager is responsible for assisting in effective operations for Sneades Ace Home Center, providing support to the Business Operations Manager & Retail Operations Manager and carrying out their day-to-day tasks.
Summary: The Assistant Business Operations Manager must exemplify and enforce the Sneades Ace Home Center culture by building up the foundation of our Mission Statement and Core Values.
Driving a culture of servant leadership amongst our staff, customers, community and building relationships must always be a top priority.
Working Normal office environment, with unspecified visits to the sales floor, other store Conditions: locations and outside meetings.
Reporting: Supervisors: President and Vice President Director of Operations District Manager Business Operations Manager Retail Operations Manager Co-Manager Positions: Administrative Assistant Subordinates: Cashiers, Sales Floor Associates, Warehouse Associates ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES, FUNCTIONS and/or DUTIES: The primary responsibilities of the Assistant Business Operations Manager include but are not limited to: Administrative Tasks o Perform daily cash room duties, including trips to Community Bank o Process donation requests that are needed o Complete quarterly drug testing to random list provided o Complete random suspicion drug trusts when advised from Retail Operations Manager, Assistant Retail Operations Managers and/or any other manager o Assist in completing purchase orders for, but not limited to home store location o Complete new hire orientations for all new employees at, but not limited to Owings location o Analyze and approve timecards for active employees o Assist Retail Operations Manager with completing biweekly schedules o Manage and update Human Resource Google Drive o Assist in maintaining store uniform inventory for the organization o Maintain inventory of office supplies o Sort, organize & distribute mail o Manage Ace Rewards program changes o Maintain and distribute company vehicle insurance and registration updates o Assist in scheduling, planning and executing annual benefits meetings o Enhance organization and efficiencies through identifying steps to improve processes o Participate collaboratively to develop, implement, and maintain organizational processes, tools, and documentation, as assigned o Grade the OSHA Tests for Propane, Pallet Jack, Forklift & Stand up Lift.
Keep and maintain the OSHA Certification Binder with copies of updated OSHA and DOT certificates o Field and assist with HR and/or Benefit inquiries from employees, but not limited to home store location Back-Up Duties o Provide any additional back up duties as needed within the administrative team Human Resource and Employment Development o Participate in new training to continuously learn o Understand that at certain times, as the job requires, may involve arriving before and staying beyond scheduled and/or store hours.
o Assist in building a cohesive team environment throughout the entire Sneades organization o Execute knowledge of store policies, procedures and goals o Communicate efficiently with entire Sneades team, working together as one team to drive growth o Conducting business ethically and with the highest integrity Other Duties as Assigned Review and Acceptance: By signing below, I acknowledge that I have carefully reviewed and understand the contents of this job description.
