We are seeking an Analyst for our Loan Boarding team in Warrenton, VA.
The Loan Boarding Analyst handles the process of boarding new loans to our servicing system for our Greystone Servicing portfolios in accordance with departmental policy, procedures, and agency guidelines.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand loan documentation and agency guidelines.
Understand and adhere to company guidelines for data integrity.
Verifying and entering data information into the servicing system for new loans, as well as acquisitions and assumptions.
Track timing and stages of new closings and acquisitions.
Generate and send to borrowers and management notice of first payment information, amortization schedule, and escrow analysis.
Review escrow analysis and amortization schedule for accuracy and determine appropriate action.
Process disbursements related to escrow analysis.
Understand insurance, tax, and reserve escrows.
Communicate regularly with internal and external clients related to recently closed loans.
Verifying the accuracy of servicing system data against specified legal loan documents (i.
e.
Loan Agreements, Underwriting, Narrative, Appraisal, etc.
).
Verifying the accuracy of loan documents.
Perform quality reviews for loan boarding and data maintenance.
Researches and responds to requests for information.
Performing other related duties as assigned.
Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred.
Two (2) years of relevant work experience.
Proficient in MS Office with an emphasis on Excel and Word.
Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
Demonstrates a firm understanding of the responsibilities of the position with moderate guidance.
Strong interpersonal skills, accuracy with numbers, and attention to detail are essential.
Exhibit self-motivation when working independently or in a group.
Ability to multi-task and meet frequent deadlines.
