Habitat America, a fast-growing property management company, seeks a strong, professional full-time Assistant Manager for a market rate apartment community in Fredericksburg, VA! Riverwoods at Fredericksburg Apartments is a 187-unit apartment community.
Habitat is looking for a marketing-oriented individual with a proven track record for achieving sales and high occupancy.

Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: Acts as a resource in resolving resident issues Lease apartments and aggressively sell the products and services of the property.
Develop, refine, and effectively implement excellent telephone and personal sales skills.
Specifically, to respond to site visit or telephone inquiries, conduct site tours, effectively sell to prospects, qualify prospects, complete all related paperwork and activities to ensure a timely move-in.
Work with the property manager to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies towards increasing property traffic levels, exceeding closing ratios, and to achieve and exceed budgeted occupancy percentages.
Maintain thorough product knowledge of property and that of major competition through site visits/tours and telephone surveys.
Prepare all lease-related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
Be able to explain all lease documents to new and existing residents.
Ensure all documents are completed prior to resident move in.
Follow established policy and procedures in qualification, screening, and acceptance of applicants for residency.
Respond to resident requests and work with residents to minimize and resolve resident problems and complaints.
Follow through to ensure issues are resolved.
Special projects or additional duties assigned by supervisor that are essential for the operations of the property.
Comply with all state, federal, and/or local laws relating to Fair Housing.
