We are growing and have an immediate opportunity for a Service Manager in our property Carlyle Village - located in Fredericksburg, VA.
Main responsibilities:
Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operation of apartment community, by organizing, delegating and following up with work orders, providing support and instructing maintenance staff in performing duties as assigned ensuring the timely completion of the same.
Responsible for all maintenance operations including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, painting, molding, appliances, carpentry, electrical repairs,
Responsible for general as well as preventative maintenance repairs.
Ensuring that all maintenance activities in a facility are appropriately carried out.
Maintaining and upholding the quality and standards of an organization.
Keeping a record of all maintenance and service activities conducted and maintaining a cycle of the same, including filing purchase orders and other documentations for the procurement of spare and replacement parts.
Ensuring proper working shifts of employees.
Recruiting maintenance staff
Provides support and instruction to all maintenance personnel to create a safe, efficient, quality organization, complying with all safety norms and regulations set by the industry.
Experience and skills:
+5 years experience with HVAC, plumbing, painting, molding, appliances, carpentry, electrical repairs
5 years supervisory experience required
Valid EPA/HVAC Universal certifications are highly desired
Excellent customer service skills, leadership abilities and be a team player
High level of professionalism in both manner and dress
Excellent communication skills; ability to read, write and communicate effectively
Knowledge in On Site, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Teams
