Leasing Agent

Our Keswick Apartment Communities are seeking to fill an immediate full-time opening for the position of Leasing Agent.
The Leasing Agent shares duties with the Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager on site.
As a Leasing Agent , you will become the public face for our properties and the key liaison between the management office and prospective renters.
We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, outgoing individual who has previous leasing experience and can offer competent service to our renters.
You will work with and directly report to the Property Manager.
*The Leasing Agent will perform the following duties:* * Meet with prospective residents and take them on tours of the units that interest them * Assists the Property Manager with the preparation and execution of leases in accordance with our property standards and regulations * Conduct credit checks and other background tasks to qualify potential renters * Collect application fees, security deposits and rent payments * Take and prepare work orders * Inform residents of any changes to the rental agreement or upcoming problems with the property * Follow up with prospective residents * Establish rapport with tenants and provide personalized service * Monitor use of community facilities, including laundry, mail and fitness centers * Other duties as assigned *The ideal candidate will have the following skills:* * High school diploma/GED * 2 years experience in leasing * Excellent problem solving skills * Ability to multitask during busy periods * Knowledge of the apartment industry Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.
