Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
- Conduct physical examinations and assessments to evaluate patients' health status.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Perform IV insertions and manage IV therapy as needed.
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing.
- Assist with esthetic laser treatments as required.
- Coordinate and participate in discharge planning for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [location].
- Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic life support (BLS) techniques.
- Ability to perform physical examinations and lift/move patients when necessary.
