Custodial/ Floor Care Supervisor - Immediate Opening

What does the Janitorial Supervisor- Floors do? Supervises custodial and floor tech employees in various locations throughout the building.
Uses customer service skills, to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, officials, and all members of the general public.
Responsible for organizing, planning, directing, staffing, and controlling the operations of the facility.
Responsible for maintaining the goals, standards, and objectives of the facility as well as obtaining and maintaining the goals, standards, and objectives of the company.
Coordinates work schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of the maintenance and care of the buildings and offices.
Coordinates workflow charts on the project to meet short- and long-term goals.
Oversee the ordering of inventory for the facility.
Supervision of custodial and floor tech employees in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all locations, CW Resources Inc.
is responsible for the inside of the building.
Completing annual evaluations on custodial and floor tech employees.
Trains supervises and evaluates assigned custodial and floor tech staff.
Trains staff in proper chemical and equipment usage and maintenance.
Responsible for the security of designated locations.
Reprimanding custodial and floor tech employees when necessary.
Completing annual evaluations on custodial and floor tech employees.
Opens and closes, locks and unlocks facilities as needed.
Keeps records of work completed.
Responsible for the collection of recycling bins located throughout the facility and distributed to the recycling center.
Attendance at work is an essential function of this position.
Performs custodial duties.
Performs other duties as needed.
Must be able to supervise large teams.
Must be able to ensure that all duties are performed correctly by the team, and if they are not then the supervisor is responsible for completing the task.
Must work to ensure that all policies and processes are being followed.
Must be able to fill out all proper paperwork.
Must be able to properly work all machinery and equipment.
What are the essential job functions? Must be able to supervise 5-6 team members.
Must be able to ensure that all duties are performed correctly by the team, and if they are not then the supervisor is responsible for completing the task.
Must work to ensure that all policies and processes are being followed.
Must be able to fill out all proper paperwork.
Must be able to properly work all machinery and equipment.
What are the qualifications and educational requirements? High School Diploma Required.
Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a related field.
Experience working with people who have disabilities.
What is the preferred knowledge? Extensive working knowledge of equipment, materials and supplies used in building maintenance.
Knowledge of proper hazardous chemical disposal.
Knowledge of floor care and carpet care.
Knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions.
What are the preferred skills? Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Ability to establish effective working relationships at different levels.
Skill in operation of listed tools and equipment.
What are the preferred attributes? Honest and trustworthy.
Respectful.
Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity.
Flexibility.
