Summary:
Nisga'a Tek is seeking to hire a Policy Auditor to join our team in support of The Department of The Air Force Criminal Justice Information Cell (DAF-CJIC) in Quantico, VA.
The Department of the Air Force Criminal Justice Information Cell (DAF-CJIC) requires support to request, receive, audit, correct, integrate, and report criminal history records from DAF law enforcement and judge advocate professionals, medical and mental health personnel, commanders, and personnel specialists from across the DAF, to provide customer service and technical expertise to indexing specialists worldwide, and to develop and provide training on indexing procedures.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
Reviewing/drafting new or existing DoD and DAF policies/procedures.
Coordinate with Attorney Advisor to identify and adjust policies/procedures as required to comply with legislative actions affecting DAF-CJIC operations.
Maintains contacts with DAF offices regarding DAF policies that have impact/are impacted by administrative/criminal indexing (e.
g.
, Punitive provisions meeting General Regulation violations).
Engage with functional (OSI/SF/JA) policy offices to synergize DAF policies when overlap exists regarding administrative/criminal indexing and associated records.
Coordinate with CHRI Data Manager regarding changes/suggested changes to DAF records disposition schedules for records associated to administrative/criminal indexing.
Coordinate with DAF-CJIC training manager in the development, review, update and maintenance of DAF-CJIC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience drafting policy with the Federal Government, Department of Defense experience preferred.
Must have an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000 per year.
