*Location:* Stafford, VA

*About this Role:* The Title Settlement Attorney will effectively develop business relations and revenue via marketing, attending events, presenting courses to agents to increase revenue.
Also, responsible for managing the settlement process for title transactions for assigned office or area.
Serve as the main point of contact for the Stafford office throughout the closing process for internal staff, lenders, agents, and clients, ensuring highest level of customer service is provided to all.
Review settlement documents, including title commitments and HUD-1 statements.
Review title abstract reports, clear title, and confirm all requirements noted on the binder are satisfied prior to settlement.
Collect all appropriate invoices and contract addendums.
Confirm commission and flat fee/administrative fees charged by the Listing and Selling Agents.
Conduct effective settlement closing with clients.
*Minimum Qualifications:* · Juris doctorate degree required.
Admission to state bar required.
· A minimum 3-4 years’ experience in real estate title processing and settlements.
· Minimum 2 years’ experience with recording fees in VA (and preferably multiple states).
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, · Knowledge of title software is preferred.
· Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
· Must possess a valid driver’s license and car insurance.
· Must be able to satisfactorily pass a credit check and background check.

Must be able to regularly talk and hear, lift 20 pounds, stand, walk, use hands and fingers for computer and office equipment, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms frequently, bend and stoop when necessary to complete job duties.
Requires ability to learn, remember, focus, categorize, and integrate information for problem-solving, comprehension, and decision-making.
Ability to complete tasks independently, remember processes, complete work timely to meet deadlines.
Travel between company offices and for marketing events required.
Must have reliable transportation.
