24-25 PES - Elementary School Counselor

Position Open Until Filled General Description - Assists students to adjust successfully to the elementary school environment; helps parents to join effectively with the school personnel toward the student's successful participation in the school; and supports the staff and administration in promoting a positive school climate.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure in School Counseling Successful teaching and/or counseling experience with at least 3 years experience preferred Demonstrates the professional and personal characteristics for working effectively with students, parents, school personnel and community agencies This is a 10-month 200 day position.
Salary credit will be given for previous teaching or counseling experience in a public or accredited private school.
24-25 Salary: TBD 23-24 Salary (Bachelor's): $50,000-$92,867 Educational Supplements: + 7% for master's degree (not included in base salary) Doctorate: +$2000 National Board: +$2000 BA + 15: +$750
