Traffic Control Crew Member-Driver

Job Summary: We are seeking a Traffic Control Crew Member to join our team.
For Northern VA.
As a Traffic Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic in construction zones or other areas where traffic control is necessary.
Your primary goal will be to maintain the safety of workers, pedestrians, and motorists by directing traffic and implementing appropriate traffic control measures.
We Provide a take home company vehicle w/ fuel card to use for work purposes.
Duties: - Set up and maintain traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades - Communicate with construction crews and other personnel to coordinate traffic flow - Monitor traffic conditions and adjust traffic control measures as needed - Provide clear instructions to drivers and pedestrians to ensure their safety - Report any incidents or violations to the appropriate authorities - Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while on the job site Qualifications: - Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with drivers, pedestrians, and coworkers - Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for long periods of time - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record with plus points and YOU MUST provide a current copy of driving record Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.
