Roles and Responsibilities
The Landscape Laborer/Driver is part of a crew, led by a Team Lead (TL), which performs specific landscape tasks for IL clients.
Overall, the Laborer is responsible for performing the assigned tasks to the highest quality and customer satisfaction while driving crews to the site.
The Laborer reports to the TL on the lawn crews.
They drive and support the TL on each job site to perform the daily tasks to the client’s satisfaction.
The TL will outline the critical success factors at the start of each day for the day’s activities, and the crew will prepare the equipment and supplies according to the TL’s directives.
During each job, the TL will adjust the current plan and laborer assignments to best meet the customer’s expectations.
The laborer ensures that their and their team’s work flows together successfully with the highest quality.
Requirements
* One year of professional experience with maintenance and operation of typical landscaping machinery (box truck driving and equipment) is required.
Must be able to mulch, trim, and cleanup professionally to maintain a pleasing lawn and garden appearance.
* Spanish speaking only is acceptable, but bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.
* Valid driver's license.
* Can complete landscaping tasks in the budgeted time efficiently.
* Honest, hardworking, driven, and accountable.
* Focuses on safety, quality, and detail in landscaping tasks.
* Able to lift 50 lbs.
or more to move equipment and supplies.
* Typical responsibilities include working in high heat (90 degrees F or more); as well as being around insects, poison ivy, and snakes.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $15.
00 - $17.
