General Description: Provides senior level functional analysis to provide analytical, technical, and capability portfolio management support.
The Senior Functional Analyst begins with defining, analyzing and documenting functional requirements, and works closely with Business analysts, Engineers, SME's, and Systems Engineers to integrate identified requirements.
Supports Doctrine, Organization, Training, material, Leadership, Personnel, Facilities (DOTmLPF) studies.
Responsibilities:
• Provides technical analysis, development, and functional expertise and applies advanced, comprehensive knowledge of methodologies, principals, and practices as related to Littoral Explosive Ordnance Neutralization (LEON) and the Family of EOD Equipment (FEODE).
• Identify, develop, coordinate, and integrate with the operating forces to provide capabilities, gaps, solutions, and risk areas in order to support EOD related program POM activities in support of Future Force development.
• Support established commands and internal integration divisions for future force design, operating concepts, capabilities, requirements, and related materiel and non-materiel solutions that optimally support engagement in both conventional and irregular warfare.
• Conduct Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) assessments of solutions and expert recommendations of impacts.
• Comprehend, relate, and integrate program information in the support the Defense Acquisition System to include JCIDS process and associated supporting documents.
• Provide Total Force Structure Management Systems (TFSMS) support and associated processes to provide capability gap analysis.
• Provide support for the development of solutions for Urgent Universal Needs / Joint Urgent Operational Needs requests from the Fleet Marine Force.
• Deliver Capabilities Based Assessments (CBA), respond to request for information (RFI) and provide Tactics, Techniques and Procedure (TTP) support.
• Maintains current knowledge of on-going developments in area of expertise
• Reviews and/or writes technical and administrative documentation, correspondence, capability briefs and information papers and provides analysis and applications of such documentation
• Participates in special projects as required
Requirements:
• Experience with the U.

Marine Corps organizational structure
• Familiarity with Joint Capability Integration and Development System
• Familiarity and experience with the Marine Corps Capability Based Assessment process
• Experience and use of TFSMS
• Demonstrated ability to develop executive level products, briefs, papers
• Requires excellent communication skills, strong writing skills, and proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite applications, including MS SharePoint.
• Strong management and organizational skills, with the ability to perform detail-oriented work, are required.
