Job Description BAE Systems, Inc.
is seeking a successful candidate to participate on a high-functioning team providing varied Configuration Management (CM) support to the Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) program.
As a Jr.
Configuration Management (CM) Analyst, you will be responsible for providing Ship Test Configuration Review Board (STCRB) support.
You will also be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of CM processes, policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on program requirements.
This position is located in King George, VA.
Responsibilities include: Perform configuration management/data management functions: planning, configuration identification, configuration control, status accounting, audits, and data management.
Act as a member of the Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) Ship Test Configuration Review Board (STCRB) Secretariat while supporting the SSDS STCRB meetings.
Enter and maintain data records and perform database management.
Track documents/changes through a review process and capture comments.
Review plans, processes and procedures associated with the Configuration Management (CM) functional areas.
Develop and revise process documents in support of configuration process management.
Track historical data, provide Status Reports / Metrics utilizing Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools.
Maintain accurate records of all transmittals and change documentation printing via Excel spreadsheet.
Maintain file repositories and workflows in online repositories (such as iPDM, SharePoint (SP), ViewNet, etc.
).
Participate in Quality Assurance reviews of media, documentation and packages for delivery.
Track media and transmittal due dates and shipments.
Aid in the coordination, processing and implementation of the STCRB.
Review all STCRB change request forms submitted via SharePoint.
Assist the STCRB originator and reviewer in adjudicating all comments and process STCRBs for signature.
Archive signed/approved STCRB request forms on the SSDS STCRB SharePoint and Southeastern Computer Consultants Incorporated (SCCI) Shared Drive.
Clearly and effectively, communicate with other team members the status of transmittal packages and provide timely notification when shipments depart.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills Essential Skills and Experience: Must be a U.
S.
CITIZEN and be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret Security Clearance.
Some knowledge of CM principles, methods, and techniques.
Proficient with MS Office tools, primarily MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Prior experience with Microsoft SharePoint Ability to effectively communicate across all organizational levels to include co-workers, managers, and government customers.
Ability to multi-task, work well independently and in a team environment.
Dependable, self-starter with strong technical skills and attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy Ability to write coherent, logically sequenced, and grammatically correct documents.
Ability to remain flexible to changing timelines and last-minute updates.
Ability to work in a noisy/busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Preferred Skills and Experience: Active Secret Security Clearance 1-3 years of CM experience Prior experience with media deliveries Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $52395 - $89107 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
