*Job Summary*
*7:30am *- *4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
*8:00am - 12:00pm, Sat/Sun volunteer.
The Janitorial Supervisor is responsible for performing custodial duties, supervision of janitorial crew(s), scheduling of janitorial crew(s) minor maintenance and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure that the facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner.
*Primary Duties *
These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.

· Supervision of janitorial employees in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all responsible locations.
· Use customer service skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, officials, and all members of the client.
· Responsible for maintaining the goals, standards, and objectives of the facility as well as obtaining and maintaining the goals, standards and objectives of the company.
· Coordinate work schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of the maintenance and care of the buildings and offices.
· Train, supervise, and evaluate assigned janitorial staff.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
*Additional Responsibilities*
· Coordinate cleaning schedules to meet short and long-term goals.
· Oversee the ordering of inventory for the facility.
· Train staff in proper chemical and equipment usage and maintenance.
· Responsible for the security of designated locations.
· Open, close, lock, and unlock facilities as needed.
· Keep records of work completed.
· Responsible for the collection of recycle bins located throughout the facility and distributed to the recycling center.
*Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)*
· High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
· Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a related field required.
· Minimum of four (4) years working in a related field and supervising 20+ personnel preferred.
· Experience working with people who have disabilities preferred.
*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities *
· Extensive working knowledge of equipment, materials and supplies used in building maintenance.
· Knowledge of proper hazardous chemical disposal.
· Knowledge of floor care and carpet care.
· Knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions.
· Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
· Ability to establish effective working relationships at different levels.
· Skilled in operation of listed tools and equipment.

While performing the duties of this job the incumbent will have to sit, stand and or walk for the majority of the shift.
The incumbent is required to regularly talk or hear while fulfilling the duties of the job.
The incumbent may have to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and push and or pull carts with up to 70 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
