Antique Chinese silk embroidered purses.
Purchased during trip to Far East by family member in 1930.
Never used.
Excellent condition.
Purse #1 Embroidered silk pink cardinal framed by flowers and butterflies.
Border of gold couched cording.
Same pattern on both sides.
Tassels on sides of handles.
Handles appear to be glass.
Lined with silk.
Purse #2 Embroidered Phoenix and dragon - pattern repeated on both sides.
Elongated shape framed by braided silk cording.
Carved bone at neck of purse with long tassels on either side.
Lined in silk.
