HunaTek’s Business Analytics team is seeking motivated, experienced professionals to join our growing team of cost analysts serving Federal and DoD clients.
As part of our team, you’ll help our Government clients develop strategies for acquiring cutting edge technologies spanning Artificial Intelligence, Zero-Trust security, Cloud platforms, software solutions, and other critical national capabilities.
*Essential Job Functions:* * Review client technical requirements, architectures and designs to develop cost analyses; assess viable solution alternatives and recommend best courses of action * Perform the full range of cost analyses in evaluation of client programs, to include life cycle cost estimates (LCCE), Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost estimates, Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE) and ad hoc cost studies * Review program technical baselines; research data sources and gather data; analyze / interpret / normalize programmatic data; design cost models and methodologies to generate program cost estimates; analyze risk and generate risk-adjusted estimates; and present analysis results to clients, senior leadership and stakeholders * Develop decision analysis and strategic studies to determine the most effective course of action for major client acquisitions, such as cost benefit analyses, analyses of alternatives, and economic analyses * Perform market research on technologies, vendor offerings and economic trends; report findings relevant to client acquisition planning and identify emerging technologies which could potentially address client needs * Analyze, evaluate and provide recommendations with respect to Total Ownership Cost, LCCE, Return-on-Investment and other analyses * Develop Cost Analysis Requirements Descriptions (CARDs) *Skills and Qualifications Required:* * US Citizenship is required * 8+ years of DoD cost estimating experience * Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance * Strong quantitative skills with ability to critically analyze client requirements, disparate collections of datasets and market intelligence and synthesize all inputs in into coherent, insightful cost deliverables, findings, and recommendations * Possess strong analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to contribute effectively to working groups through oral and written communication * Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, ACEIT, SEER Suite and other cost estimating toolsets, including Crystal Ball or @Risk * Expertise in DoD acquisition, financial, and DoD PPBE processes * Knowledge of software parametric methods (e.
g.
, Function Points, Story Points, etc.
) * Familiarity with IT system designs, development, and operations * Understanding of the Agile development process and DevSecOps principles * Understanding cloud hosting pricing models * Preferred: ICEAA-certified *Education and Experience:* * Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.
g.
