Duties BUDGET ANALYST; DO-0560-01 As a Defense Travel System (DTS) Reviewing Official (RO), assist customers with travel authorizations and voucher submittals.
Conduct travel briefings and help members with Government Travel Card applications/account transfers.
Update the Travel SharePoint site as needed.
support senior budget analysts with various entry level budget, accounting and administrative functions.
Knowledge processing authorizations and vouchers within the Defense Travel System.
Knowledge in budget formulation, execution, and accounting principles, and the ability to research and analyze financial data to identify and prevent deficiencies.

Incumbent must have or be capable of obtaining and retaining a Top Secret/SCI security clearance Locations are not negotiable.
The actual duty locations available may be located on the Air Force Civilian Service website.
This is a designated Drug Testing Position.
Position is subject to polygraph testing.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
Obtain Department of Defense (DoD) Financial Management – Level 2 Certification, within 2 years of appointment.
Travel maybe required.
Incumbent may be required to serve a 3-year probationary period.
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.

In order to qualify for this position you must meet the basic education and/or specialized experience requirements.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5 grade level.
Example: Specialized Experience is defined as work in the private or public sector performing duties in or related to the work of the position being filled.
Examples of specialized experience include: Basic knowledge with Department of Defense Operation and Maintenance (O&M) and Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) appropriations, resource distribution, budget execution.
OR Education: Successfully completed 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate or master's degree that is directly related to the work of the position.
NOTE: You must submit a copy of transcripts OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
